Kids test toys on FOX19 Morning News

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

We sent our FOX19 Morning News anchors looking for toys they thought would be perfect for a 5-year-old. They were given a $50 budget.

Then, we allowed kindergartners of both sexes play with the toys.  Those kids will be giving you their reviews of these toys.

On Friday, the kids reviewed Frank's toy, the Color Twister Spin Art, giving it a Thumbs Up.

On Monday, we started again with Jessica's Bop It Smash.  It got a Thumbs Up as well.

On Tuesday, the kids tested Cory Stark's Digital Light Designer. It received our first Thumbs Down of the Toy Test.

Wednesday morning, we tested Jeff Creighton's toy, the Hot Wheels Wall Tracks. It received a Thumbs Up.

Katy had the girls test the Angelina Ballerina Dance with Me Game on Thursday. The girls both gave this game a Thumbs Up!

On Friday, Stephanie Woods let the kids try her Barbie Photo Fashion Doll. The girls gave this toy two Thumbs Up.  However, Stephanie advises parents read the instructions first.

On Monday, Tracey showed off the Play-Doh Creativity Center. It got a round of Thumbs Up!

Last, but not least, Rob showcased Interactive Batman on Tuesday. The toy needed two sets of batteries and didn't work very well without a companion toy. Eric gave this one a Thumbs Down.

Thanks for joining us for the FOX19 Morning News Toy Test!
