COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
Voters in the Northwest School District passed a levy that will save extra-curricular activities.
The levy passed 53 to 47 percent.
Had the levy failed, all extra-curricular activities, including football, would have been cut. The levy will cost the owner of a $100,000 home an additional $150 a year.
Cincinnati Public Schools also had a levy approved.
With all precincts reporting, 67 percent of voters approved the renewal levy that will be good for five years and provide $51 million to the district.
