BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The polls have closed for the students at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Baton Rouge and there was a clear winner.

The second grade students were voting on which cookie should win. They had a choice: Mrs. Obama's mint chocolate cookies or Mrs. Romney's oatmeal chocolate cookies.

The polls opened on election day at 1 p.m. and were closed before 2:30 p.m. The students were given one of each cookie and they tasted the cookies before they went into the voting booth.

The students had to go behind a curtain to vote after they filled out their voting registration cards.

Reports are that there was no voter fraud, no illegal campaigning near the polling location. Also, there was no technical issues when it came to counting the votes.

Sources say Mrs. Romney's cookie was larger than Mrs. Obama's cookie, however Romney's cookie won the election with a vote of 67 to 55.
