BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A home on Amen Corner in the Country Club of Louisiana is considered a total loss after a fire.
The blaze, which started around 4 p.m. Monday, took firefighters nearly two hours to bring under control.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to either of the neighboring homes, each less than 10 feet away.
Smoke from the fire could be seen from the interstate.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
