ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
Twenty people were arrested as part of "Operation No
Show" for failing to appear in court.
Individuals arrested who bond out from jail are given a
notice to appear in court on a specific date.
Ascension Sheriff Jeff Wiley says those court dates are frequently
ignored, leading to bench warrants being issued for failure to appear in court.
