The town of Clinton, LA has issued a boil water advisory for all residents in the community after the water system experienced some problems.
According to Clinton officials, a contractor installing fiber optic cable broke a water main.
The boil advisory is to remain in effect until rescinded by the Water System.
It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it, making ice, brushing teeth or using it for food preparation or rinsing food.
Boil water for one full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
