Baton Rouge man sentenced for nightclub incident

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 33-year-old man will spend more than a decade in prison for pulling a handgun at a nightclub during an October 2011 incident.

Gregory Mumphrey was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 15 years behind bars.  

On October 21, 2011, Mumphrey armed himself with a handgun at a night club and threatened a club patron.  During a fight that followed, security at the club was able to grab the gun.

Mumphrey had previously pled guilty to burglary and possession of Ecstasy.
