CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
President Obama will make his last stop in Cincinnati before the election today.
Obama will campaign in Cincinnati along with Concord, New Hampshire; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and Aurora, Colorado on Sunday. Obama planned the event after Hurricane Sandy forced him to cancel an event planned for Halloween.
President Obama will speak at a grassroots event at University of Cincinnati's Fifth Third Arena. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for the event. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
The event will begin with a welcome address by Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory, William Robson a U.S. Navy veteran will lead the pledge. The anthem will be lead by City Councilman Wendell Young. President Obama will be introduced by Julie Walulik. Walulik is a former nurse and stay at home mom. Julie will speak about how the Patient Protection and Affordable Care act has made caring for an ill child possible. Musician Stevie Wonder will also perform.
Traffic is expected to be heavy in the Clifton area before and after the event.
Air Force One is scheduled to land at CVG around 7:10 this evening, and take off around 9:10 p.m.
