TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
The Tyler bicyclist arrested for making threats to two pedestrians posted bond Tuesday.
Jack Stinnett was arrested Monday night near the intersection of E. Grande and Sutherland Drive, in Tyler.
According to police, Jack Stinnett was riding a bike on the sidewalk on East Grande and as he approached two men walking he yelled at them to let them know he was passing by. The two men, Michael Bojorquez and David Scott Harris, then yelled back at him as they were moving out of the way.
Stinnett continued riding for a bit and then turned around and approached the two again. This time the two men saw him approaching and moved out of the way. He passed by and they began arguing again from about 10 yards away.
Stinnett claimed he felt threatened by the two unarmed men, so he drew a small caliber revolver and fired one shot at them.
Stinnett is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
