BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana is sending help to the Northeast to assist with the response efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
A pair of two-person response teams were deployed to the state of Pennsylvania today. Another team will be sent to Maryland tomorrow.
The teams were deployed by the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.
Both states sent about 120 people to help with relief efforts after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
