MORGAN CITY, LA (WAFB) -

A man already in jail is even more trouble after authorities said he posted pictures to Facebook while locked up.

Gabrieo Boulanger, 23, of Morgan City was arrested Thursday afternoon on the new charge.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office said a deputy received information he was posting pictures on the social media site.

Investigators said they followed up on the tip and discovered the dates the images were uploaded coincided with his incarceration at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

He has been charged with unlawful internet-based social networking account by an inmate.

Bond has not been set.

The law prohibiting convicts from establishing or maintaining such sites while in jail went into effect in 2011.

Authorities did not release information about Boulanger's original charges.
