Off-duty officers charged with domestic abuse battery

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two officers were issued misdemeanor summonses Thursday charging them with domestic abuse battery in connection with an off-duty incident that happened at their home in Baton Rouge on October 21, 2012.

Corporal Leonard Harry and Officer Leslie Harry are married but separated. The Baton Rouge Police Department says the couple got into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation.

Both have been placed on administrative leave pending the conclusion of an internal investigation.

Cpl. Leonard Harry is a 14-year veteran assigned to the Motorcycle Division. Officer Leslie Harry is five year veteran assigned to Bicycle Patrol.
