Four arrested for casino parking lot shooting

ST. HELENA PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Authorities have made several arrests in a deadly shooting Tuesday night at a casino.

Deputies say there was a fight in the parking lot of Tall Timbers Truck Stop on Highway 16.  Jamilia Smith, 25, tried to help a friend involved in the fight and was shot and killed by Stacey Self.

Self's daughters, Ebony and Triquencea Self, and a third woman, Karretta Franklinton, were also arrested in connection with the shooting.

Stacey Self has been charged with second degree murder.  Ebony and Triquencea Self are facing principle to second degree murder charges.  Franklinton is believed to have driven Stacey Self to the scene.
