BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two people were sentenced Tuesday for shooting and killing a man at a car wash.

Jean Paul Creppel and Danielle Palermo, 26, were accused of killing Jonathan Ellis in August 2011.

Detectives say Palermo lured Ellis to a car wash to be robbed, where Creppel shot and killed Ellis.

Ellis' body was later found underneath a bridge on Black Mud Road between Satsuma and Walker.

Creppel was sentenced to 40 years in prison.  Palermo was given a five year sentence in return for helping authorities.
