GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) -
Authorities have released dash camera video of a chase that ended with a 28-year-old woman and two sheriff's deputies injured following a crash in Goose Creek Wednesday night.
Bond was set Thursday night at $102,816 for Teowanna Sallie.
Investigators say Sallie exceeded speeds of 100 miles per hour in her car on Interstate 26 and 75 miles per hour on Goose Creek roads during the chase which ended when Sallie crashed into two sheriff's office cruisers.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office charged Sallie with failure to stop for blue lights, driving under suspension fourth offense and having an expired license tag. Sallie was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries following the incident.
Two deputies also received minor injuries in the crash. They are expected to recover shortly.
Around 6:12 p.m., the sheriff's office was contacted by Charleston police regarding a Dodge Charger that failed to stop for officers on Savannah Highway. A short time later a deputy spotted the Charger on I-526 near Leeds Avenue.
An incident report states when the deputy attempted to stop the car, the driver failed to stop and opted for exit 17 to I-26, where she would weave in and out of traffic, exceeding speeds of 100 miles per hour.
Sallie exited I-26 at the Highway 52 exit and then went onto Liberty Hall Road, where she exceeded speeds of 75 miles per hour, the report states.
The woman then led deputies onto North Rhett Extension before making her way to Red Bank Road.
The sheriff's office says the driver then drove around the back of a building at the corner of Red Bank Road and Cranford Road.
According to investigators, when the driver drove the Charger back to the roadway, the vehicle struck two deputies marked cruisers.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
