Local school board discussing possible layoffs

The East Feliciana Parish school board will meet Tuesday to discuss possible layoffs. In order to make budget, the board says it may have to lay off a school administrator, 10 teachers and eight support workers. WAFB's Tyana Williams is gathering details on this story and will have the latest here and on WAFB9News at 5.

Then tonight on 9news at 6: Greg Meriwether explains a new hi-tech ballistics ID system which is now being deployed in Baton Rouge. The system can retrieve and transmit bullet and weapon information from the scene.
