Woman arrested on Medicaid fraud charges

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Ferriday woman has been arrested for Medicaid fraud.

Ullonda Curry, 29, allegedly submitted false time sheets to her employer, claiming she had been providing personal care services to a Medicaid patient at the patient's home, even though the patient was in the hospital at the time.

The State Attorney General's Office says Curry was paid over $2,000 for work she didn't perform.

Curry was booked into the EBR Parish Prison on one count of Medicaid fraud.
