A delicious recipe that is 2nd only to the "Big Bird" (Turkey) for Thanksgiving
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes
1 stick of butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
1 small can evaporated milk
2 prepared pie crust (Bake pie crust for about 10 minutes before adding sweet potato filling)
Method:
Peel and slice potatoes. Boil sweet potatoes until tender. Mix sweet potatoes, butter, sugar, eggs vanilla flavor and evaporated milk. Pour into the prepared pie shells. Bake in a 350° oven for about 20 minutes until pie filling is firm and does not shake.
