A comforting recipe that is a Sunday's Best Year Round
6-8 bakers sized Sweet potatoes
½ Stick of butter
2 Cups of Sugar
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into strips. Place in pot with sugar. Cook until all liquid has evaporated and potatoes are tender. The sugar will be thicken Melt butter in separate pot. Coat sweet potatoes with melted butter. Be careful not to stir sweet potatoes. You want potatoes to keep its stripped form and be firm.
