EAST FELICIANA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
A boil-water advisory has been issued for parts of East Feliciana Parish
until Tuesday due to some maintenance related issues that occurred on Friday.
Water District #7 in East Feliciana Parish says all of the homes and
business on Hurst Lane and on Highway 432 should boil their water before
consumption.
During a boil water advisory, do not consume tap water that has not been
disinfected, ice or drinks made from tap water that has not been disinfected,
or raw foods rinsed with tap water that has not been disinfected.
Disinfect water by boiling at a rolling boil for 1 minute. A safe
alternative source of potable water includes bottled, treated or distilled
water.
It is okay to wash clothes.
Provide pets with boiled water after it is cooled.
