BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge Police are investigating an early morning shooting outside Club Empire on Florida Blvd.
An unidentified 22-year-old man was shot in the right leg/knee as he left the club around 1:50 a.m., according to Capt. Joan Cage. He was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
After further investigation officers learned the victim had an argument with someone inside the club prior to the shooting, Cage said. Detectives are investigating whether or not that person was the shooter. The victim told police he did not know who shot him or why.
