Changes to alcohol sales in EBR Parish come down to tonight's vote

The EBR Metro Council will vote tonight on changes to alcohol sales. The proposed changes would allow businesses to sell alcohol starting at 6 a.m. and allow bars to be open every day.  WAFB's Kiran Chawla will have a live report on 9News at 5.

An LSU graduate who was denied admission to the University of Texas in 2008 is making national headlines.  The student claims she was turned away because of her race.  The U.S. Supreme Court is set to rule on the case.  WAFB's Cheryl Mercedes will have more on 9News at 6.
