The suspect accused of murdering a Fort Mitchell mother was in court on Wednesday.

David Dooley, 38, is charged with murder, kidnapping and tampering with evidence in the death of Michelle Mockbee at Thermo-Fischer Scientific in Florence in May. He was employed as a janitor at the business and Mockbee worked in human resources.

A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 14.

Prosecutors are still deciding whether or not to pursue the death penalty.

So far, a motive has not been released. Investigators have said that Mockbee would often talk with Dooley's wife, who also worked a Thermo-Fischer.
