WEST BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
State Police say a man has been killed in a single vehicle crash that happened early Saturday morning. The crash happened on LA 987-3 east of LA 415, just before 1:00 am.
Mark Ramoin, 39, was driving a pick up truck south on LA 987-3 when he ran off the road and into a ditch. His truck overturned several times and then struck a utility pole. Ramoin was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He was partially ejected from the truck and sustained fatal injuries.
Troopers do suspect alcohol impairment to have been a factor in the crash.
