BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
The
Louisiana State Police said a 35-year-old man died when he crashed his
motorcycle Tuesday night.
The victim
was identified as Kevin Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge.
The wreck
happened on LA 73 (Old Jefferson Highway) near LA 948 (Highland Road) in East
Baton Rouge Parish just before 9 p.m.
Troopers said
Thibodeaux was headed north on Old Jefferson when his Suzuki motorcycle went
off the road in a curve, slid across a concrete driveway and hit a curb.
They said
he was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's
Office.
The cause
of the accident is still being investigated, but impairment is not believed to
have been a factor.
