BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Presidential candidates will square off in the campaign's first debate in Denver, Colorado Wednesday night. The issue-driven showdown should help undecided voters decide which candidate to support.

Baton Rouge voters can still get involved locally by attending a block party that will be held at North Boulevard Time Square. The debate will be broadcast at 8 p.m. and will include a myriad of speakers.

"We wanted to make sure that we provide an avenue for young professionals to actually hear the issues presented this year" said Representative Ted James.

Political analyst Clay Young believes the debate will provide an opportunity for Mitt Romney to re-introduce himself in light of recent comments about 47 percent of American taxpayers that drummed up a media firestorm. "Tomorrow night is make-or-break for Mitt Romney," Young said, "[He'll have] a chance to get it right."

Political analyst Jim Engster believes its President Obama's debate to lose. "He's got to show that he is in charge, confident, that he can defend his record [and] not run from it."
