Debris removal progressing in EBR

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The contractor hired to pick up leftover debris in East Baton Rouge says they're about 75 percent finished.

Natural Resource Recovery Inc. has about two weeks left in its second pass.

So far, the company has collected about 100,000 cubic yards of material, but all that waste isn't going to waste.

Any materials left after the last collection pass will need to be put out on the street for regular trash collection.
