CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
Kroger has partnered with General Mills and Yoplait to launch its third Sharing Courage campaign, where up to $75,000 will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
This year's texting campaign pledges Yoplait will donate $1 to support breast cancer awareness and research - up to $75,000 - by consumers texting PINK to 80404.
This commitment is being reflected by the Kroger building itself, with an official kick-off beginning Oct. 1, where Kroger will wrap their building in 150-foot-tall promotional signage and light the entire building pink through the month of October.
The Sharing Courage text campaign officially launched on Sept. 23 and will run through Nov. 3. The campaign is an added element to Kroger's annual Giving Hope a Hand program, which provides $3 million annually to assist agencies such as the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure in communities served by the Kroger Co. Family of Stores.
