BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A roof collapse in the early Sunday morning severely damaged a downtown Baton Rouge club.
About 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning, crews from the Baton Rouge fire department responded to Club Theory on 602 main street for reports of a gas leak. The roof had collapsed sometime in the early morning hours due to an excess of water according to Fire Department spokesman Robert Combs.
Investigators believe a faulty drain caused the water build up but no one was injured at the time of the collapse. Combs said all utilities and power were disconnected and no gas leak was discovered.
