Green Bay, WI (WAFB) -

The struggling Saints travel to Lambeau field to face the Packers and the defense will be without defensive end Turk McBride and linebackers David Hawthorne and Jonathan Casillas.

Interim head coach Aaron Kromer addressed the thin linebacking corps today saying, "Health at linebacker always is a factor because those guys do so many things. Not only are they linebackers but they are special teams players so it wears thin. We've had this throughout the year in the last three games and, obviously, we dress six at times. We dressed five the first week. We just have to deal with it, we just have to overcome it."

Will Herring and Scott Shanle will be relied on heavily against the Packers and Barrett Rudd may see his first action for the Saints.

The Packers are coming off of a stinging defeat to the Seattle Seahawks after a controversial call gave the Seahawks the victory on the last play of the game. The play was a key to the NFL and referees agreeing to a new contract.

The Saints (0-3) and Packers (1-2) kickoff Sunday at 3:25pm.
