Butter Basted Oysters - Don's Seafood


1 Pint Flour

4 tsp Blackened Seasoning

1/2 tsp Red Pepper

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

2 tsp Salt

1/2 cup Chives

2 oz Worchestire Sauce

1/2 Stick Butter

2 doz Raw Oyster


Mix flour and dry seasonings. Heat skillet to medium/high heat and melt butter. Dredge drained oysters in the seasoned flour. Drop carefully into hot skillet. After oysters are brown on first side, turn them over. At this point apply several splashes of Worchestire Sauce and add green onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Serve and enjoy. (Best when "hot" right out of the pan!)
