More than one-third of all traffic crashes and about two-thirds of traffic deaths can be attributed to aggressive driving. Most of us know aggressive driving when we see it. It includes things like  improper lane changes, following too closely, running red lights and speeding.

More than 60 percent of motorists view dangerous driving as a threat to themselves and their families. With more drivers on Louisiana roads each year, the Louisiana State Police wants to change that and reduce the number of accidents related to aggressive driving.

If you see someone driving dangerously, stay calm and give them space. Your best response is to dial *LSP. By doing so, you will reach the closest state police troop to the location. And, state police are promising aggressive drivers, when it comes to ticketing them, police will be just as aggressive.
