A new study ranks Louisiana as No. 4 in the nation for women murdered by men.
The study, which was conducted by the Violence Policy Center in Washington, DC, stated the Bayou State has a rate of 1.86 per 100,000.
The data is from 2010.
Researchers said the cases are based on one female murder victim and one male offender.
