BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Gov. Bobby Jindal and House Speaker Chuck Kleckley are victorious after a group of public school teachers failed to get enough signatures to force a recall election.
The deadline for the signatures was Tuesday.
The teachers are upset about Jindal's education reform plan that's pushing more students into private and charter schools.
More than 950,000 signatures are needed for a governor recall election.
