TANGIPAHOA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
The Tangipahoa Parish
Sheriff's Office cyber detectives have arrested two men and are looking for
another after a proactive online undercover operation. The detectives conduct
online undercover operations in an effort to patrol cyber space for child
predators.
William J. Nason, 59,
of Denham Springs, LA is charged with pornography involving juveniles.
Stacy M. Meaux, 46, of
Abbeville, LA is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles.
Arrest warrants have
been issued for Christopher A. Mascair, 28, of Ponchatoula, LA. His charges
include pornography involving juveniles, indecent behavior with juveniles, and
computer aided solicitation of a
"These cases are a reminder to parents to
monitor closely what their children are exposed to on the Internet. This includes not online social networking
sites like Facebook, but also the electronic devices that our children use,
such as smart phones, games, and computers," said Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff
Daniel Edwards.
