BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man is clinging to life in the hospital after getting shot late Tuesday night.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the shooting happened on North Foster Drive, but the victim ran to Levera Street to get away.
Police were called to the 4100 block of Levera around 10:45 p.m.
They found the victim lying in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators did not indicate how many times or where the man was shot.
His name was not released.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers said they learned the shooting started in the 4100 block of North Foster and the man ended up about a block away on Levera.
Detectives have not identified a suspect or established a motive.
The investigation continues.
