LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office hauled another suspected drug dealer off to jail later Thursday as part of Operation New Sheriff in Town and released the names others deputies are still trying to catch.
Logan Walther, 19, of Denham Springs was charged with distribution of marijuana.
His bond was set at $100,000.
Investigators reported Daishawn Dantzler, who had been arrested earlier in the day, was found to be in possession of a gun.
They added a felon in possession of a firearm charge to his list of counts.
His bond was set at $50,000 for the new charge.
So far, 11 people have been arrested in the operation.
The narcotics division of the LPSO continues to look for four men wanted for distribution of crack cocaine. They are:
- David Carter, 26, of Walker
- Perry Bennett, 47, of Albany
- Eric D'Shawn Carter, 20, of Walker
- Lee Williams, 32, of Denham Springs
Deputies reported Williams is wanted on three counts of distribution of crack cocaine.
