FEMA opens recovery centers in Tangipahoa

PONCHATOULA, LA (WAFB) - Two disaster recovery centers have been opened in Tangipahoa Parish to help homeowners, renters and business owners who sustained property damage in Hurricane Isaac.

Specialists from the State of Louisiana, FEMA and the Small Business Administration will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the types of assistance available.

The centers are located at Tower Road Building at 282 Tower Road in Ponchatoula and 204 E. Oak St. in Amite.

The centers will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.
