GRAND ISLE, LA (WAFB) -
The Coast Guard is still searching by air and surface for a missing kayaker in a 600-square-mile area of the Gulf of Mexico near Grand Isle.
Eric Richards, 32, went fishing Monday morning and didn't return.
He was reported missing Tuesday after he didn't show up at work.
A co-worker found Richards' vehicle at a boat launch in Grand Isle.
According to Coast Guard officials, crews have been searching around the clock and will continue.
Searchers are also going rig to rig to see if Richards had been able to make it to one of the sites.
