BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Office of the Louisiana Attorney General reportedly said it received more than 1,000 price-gouging complaints during Hurricane Isaac.
According to the Times-Picayune, the sudden spike in gas prices was at the top of the list of consumer complaints.
However, the director of the Public Protection Division in the attorney general's office said none of the gas stations investigated so far have been in violation of the law.
The AG's office said it now expects an increase in alleged contractor fraud complaints.
