BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A 32-year-old man will go to prison for 17 years for the death of a Baton Rouge woman after agreeing to a plea deal.

Kasey Ann Eackels, 22, was killed in June of 2010.

Her body was later found burned in a pasture in St. Gabriel.

Camari Bookter pleaded guilty to manslaughter Sunday.

He was originally charged with second-degree murder.

Eackels was last seen with Bookter the day her family reported her missing two years ago.

She left behind three children.
