If you need to apply for disaster food stamps and live in one of the 13 parishes approved for the program, here's an updated look at the registration schedule.
The most recent addition to that list is St. James Parish. If your last name starts with A, B or C you can apply Monday in person from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. James Reception Hall in Vacherie.
Tangipahoa Parish will also be serving folks with the last names A - C on Monday. Shuttles will be leaving from Harvest Church (43052 Yokum Rd.) in Hammond and the Florida Parishes Arena in Amite.
For those living in Livingston and Ascension parishes, Monday and Tuesday will be the finals days to apply for DSPAN benefits. Those sites are Amvets (26890 Hwy. 42) in Springfield and the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.
