BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A EBR Parish Prison employee is on the other side of the bars after being accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend.
According to reports, Ronald M. Gautreaux, 62, allegedly called his ex-girlfriend, wrote to her and showed up at her home and work repeatedly, even though he had been told to stop.
The victim told authorities Gautreaux had threatened her and cursed at her when he called.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office says Gautreaux admitted to accessing the victim's gated residence by following others through a security gate.
Gautreaux has since been fired.
He has been charged with stalking, defamation and improper telephone communications.
