Jury selection is underway for the murder trial of Camari Bookter, a man accused of killing his girlfriend in 2010.
Bookter has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Kasey Ann Eakels, whose burned body was found in a field off LA 141 near St. Gabriel in June of 2010.
He has also been charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl he allegedly met on a social networking site.
This trial has been through a long series of legal delays.
