BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A man is in
the hospital after his house was shot up while he was asleep in bed early
Friday morning.
It happened
in the 3000 block of Hollywood Street in Baton Rouge around 2 a.m.
According
to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the 53-year-old victim was sleeping when
bullets fired outside went into his bedroom and hit him.
Investigators
said he was hit several times in the chest area.
He was
taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The
victim's name was not released.
Police have
not yet established a motive for the shooting or identified a suspect.
