LAPLACE, LA (WAFB) -
According
to officials, the two deputies who survived the tragic shooting in LaPlace
continue to improve.
Sheriff
Mike Tregre of the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office said Deputy
Michael Boyington II and Deputy Jason Triche remain hospitalized, but are
recovering.
He said
Boyington underwent another surgery Tuesday morning and his condition keeps
getting better.
He added
Triche has also shown steady improvement and to ensure that progress stays on
track, doctors and family ask for limited visitation.
They only
want relatives to stop by so he can get the amount of rest necessary as he
recovers.
Tregre said
no release date has been set for the deputies.
