BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police say a man has been arrested for murder after the person he robbed died of an apparent heart attack.

Brian Wright, 26, was arrested late Friday evening after he and two accomplices robbed Terrance Booker, 53, near the 1700 block of North Sherwood Forest just after 1:00 pm.  It is believed that Booker may have suffered a heart attack during the robbery.  He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Wright was taken into custody after he crashed his vehicle a few blocks away from where the robbery occurred. His two accomplices fled on foot and are still at large.  Wright has been charged with First Degree Murder and booked into East Baton Rouge Prison.
