Teen shot to death in driveway

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Homicide detectives are investigating the murder of a Baton Rouge teen who was gunned down in a driveway late Thursday night.

The shooting happened in the 1800 block of Curtis Street in the Scotlandville area just before midnight.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said the first officer on the scene found Ty O'Brian Porter, 18, next to a parked car.

Investigators said Porter had been shot several times and was already dead.

Police have not identified a suspect and said they don't yet know the motive for the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
