The family of a man who was shot last week has now passed on word that he died from his wounds.

Philip Boudreaux, 18, was shot inside an apartment in Tigerland Tuesday night.

The Baton Rouge Police Department now has two suspects in custody.

Dedrick Brown, 24, was arrested over the weekend in connection with the crime. George Triplett, 22, was arrested Thursday morning. Both Brown and Triplett's charges will be upgraded to first degree murder.

Detectives said the shooting was drug-related. They believe robbery was the motive.

The shooting happened at the Chateau D'Cour Apartments Tuesday around 10:30 p.m.

Responding officers found the victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
