JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are searching for two men who suspected of robbing a store at gunpoint Sunday night.

The hold-up happened just before 10 p.m. at Dollar General, 3516 Harrisburg Rd.

According to Maria Rufus, a manager at the store, she was standing at the cash register when two men entered the store with what she called a "play" gun.  She told Officer Timothy Burns she "heard the gun click…but felt it was fake."

According to Officer Burns' initial report, the two then escorted Rufus and a co-worker to the back office and demanded they give them money.  Rufus reportedly told the two all of the money was in the registers up front.

After being led back to the registers, Rufus told Officer Burns she "pretended as if she didn't know how to open the register."

At one point she said one of the men said, "Hurry up before they come."  She reportedly replied, "They are already on their way."  Just then a customer pulled up and the two men ran out the door.  Rufus told Officer Burns they ran toward the Gladiolus apartment complex.

Rufus and her co-worker described one of the suspects as a white male, approximately six-foot tall, weighing 160-170 pounds, wearing a white stocking cap and a red bandana around his mouth.  They said he "sounded nervous and familiar."  It's believed he may have been in the store before.  They said the other suspect kept referring to him as "Tim."

They described the second suspect as a black male, approximately 5'4" weighing 140-160 pounds.  He was wearing khaki pants, a black zippered jacket and a black stocking cap.  The store employees said he sounded older and "did the majority of the talking."
